Basic Computers in the Workplace I - 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sept. 7-10 or Oct. 4-7. The September class will meet in Room 115 of the Elsee Building on the Smithfield campus, 245 College Road. The October class will meet at the Johnston County Workforce Development Center, 135 Bestwood Drive, Clayton.

Effective Strategies for Your Job Search - 8-11 a.m. at the JobLink Career Center, 11671 U.S. 70 Business, Clayton. Topics include resume writing, cover letters, interviewing skills and how to handle difficult information.
Resumes, Cover Letters & More - 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sept. 1 or Oct. 6 in Room 115 of the Britt Building on the Smithfield campus.
Reinventing Yourself for a New Career - noon-4 p.m. Aug. 23-26 or Oct. 18-21 in Room 115 of the Elsee Building on the Smithfield campus. The class is designed for those who are finishing school and those who have been laid off recently. Topics include networking and how best to sell your strengths to employers.
Re-Entry Workshop - 5-8 p.m. Aug. 30-Sept. 2 or Oct. 4-7 in Room 115 of the Elsee Building on the Smithfield campus. Don't let a criminal record get in the way of job searching. Learn what to do with difficult information on an application, resume and during the interview.
Pre-Teller Certification - 6:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays, Aug. 23-Nov. 1, in Room J1210 of the Public Safety Services Building on the Smithfield campus. Topics include banking terminology and computer skills.
