Follow Garner's Scotty McCreery as he seeks to become the next "American Idol."
It looks as if Scotty McCreery won't be bagging groceries at the Garner Lowes Foods this summer. Instead, he'll be singing his way across the nation on the "American Idol" tour. In Thursday night's live show, McCreery learned that he had advanced to this season's Top 10 and secured a spot on the tour.
Scotty's week: After singing a country-fied version of Stevie Wonder's "For Once In My Life" on Wednesday, McCreery got to sing with Wonder on Thursday. The Motown legend joined McCreery (in a tux!) and the other finalists for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." Minutes later, host Ryan Seacrest called McCreery and two others to center stage and toyed with their emotions by telling them to pack their bags ... because they were on the tour!
Who did finish last: The bottom three came down to Stefano Langone, Thia Megia and Casey Abrams. In the end, quirky Abrams finished last. But in a surprise, the judges used their one "save" to keep Casey. So, all 11 finalists remain.
What's next: McCreery and the other finalists will be back at it tonight with performances, and the two lowest vote-getters will go home Thursday.
