Southeast Regional Library hosts summer activities

Southeast Regional Library is offering several activities for adult library members in July at 946 Steeple Square Court, Knightdale.

Alicia Young and Nathaniel Key will discuss re-building confidence after job loss 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 15. The speakers will show adult library members how to use guided journal techniques for self-reflection to get through unemployment with confidence. Registration is required.

The library will host a discussion on taking the next step in developing a small business 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18. Alex Viva, a certified global business professional, will lead the discussion.

Southeast Regional Library will provide test preparation tips 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 24. Librarians will offer tips on entrance tests to the military, for college and for careers. Librarians will lead the session using a library-maintained database. The session is free but registration is required.

Librarians will also offer hour-long one-on-one sessions 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 31. Visitors will get tips on how to access free online courses offered by top universities. The session is free but registration is required.
