Music off Main

Music off Main is back beginning Aug. 15 when the band Honey hits the state on the back lawn of the Garner Performing Arts Center.

Garner’s very own dance band, Honey performs a variety of musical styles from R&B and disco, to soul, rock, funk and pop.

The music runs 6-9 p.m. at the GPAC, 125 Avery St. Fans should bring lawn chairs or blankets. No coolers; food and nonalcoholic beverages will be available.

Gregory returns to GPAC

For over two decades, veteran comedian James Gregory has stood grinning, his shirt untucked, his arms outstretched, a carefree welcome to a comedy experience. He returns to the Garner Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23. For ticket information, visit garnerperformingartscenter.com
