Three arrested in Garner armed robbery

— Police arrested three men Oct. 16 in connection with a robbery reported that day.

The suspects are Danny Jamal McClain, 40, of 804 E. Maynard Ave. in Durham; Oliver Shiheem McNeill, 16, of 21 Harper St. in Linden; and Dominique Tyshawn Davis, 20, of 1183 Morphus Bridge Road in Wendell.

Warrants allege that at about 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday the trio broke into a house on the 1500 block of Beichler Road in Garner, armed with a semi-automatic weapon. They attempted to steal money and marijuana and threatened a victim’s life, according to the warrant, and one suspect assaulted a person with the handgun, inflicting serious injuries.

All three were arrested just before 2 p.m. and charged with first-degree burglary; conspiracy to break and enter with the intent to commit armed robbery and first-degree burglary; and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.

McNeill and Davis were also charged with possession of a stolen firearm and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

All three suspects remained in the Wake County Jail as of Friday afternoon.

McClain was being held in lieu of $400,000 bond and McNeill in lieu of $215,000. Their next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 7.

Davis was being held under $155,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Friday, Oct. 18.
