From staff reportsDecember 2, 2013

— Town officials have released information identifying a suspect in a robbery at Knightdale’s Wal-Mart last week.

The suspect approached the customer service area of the store and asked for money. He was able to receive an undisclosed amount in a bag without other customers noticing.

The same man is also a suspect in Wal-Mart robberies in Garner and Raleigh that have happened in recent weeks. He also approached a Wal-Mart in Apex, but did not receive money.

Police describe him as as a black male, between 5 feet, 11 inches and 6 feet, 1 inch, 180-200 pounds. He had a mustache and slight facial hair. He wore a pullover jacket with a white body and blue sleeves, sunglasses, white shoes and a green hoodie with the hood up under the white jacket.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect to call Knightdale detectives at 919-271-2264.
