David Rouzer hires campaign manager

December 20, 2013

David Rouzer, Republican candidate for Congress in North Carolina's 7th Congressional District, has hired Tyler Foote as the campaign’s manager.

Foote is a Kentucky native who has served on multiple state and federal campaigns around the country. He most recently worked as campaign manager for Delegate Mike Watson's re-election campaign, which was one of Virginia's most competitive races. Previously, Foote served as campaign manager for Congressman Tim Murphy's 2012 re-election campaign and worked on the 2010 Kentucky Senate race for Sec. of State Trey Grayson. Foote also worked with the Leadership Institute as the Director of Political and New Media Training.

"Tyler has a wealth of campaign experience and I am very excited to have him join our team," said Rouzer. "Tyler has served as campaign manager on other competitive races around the country, and I know his experience in those competitive districts will be of great benefit during this campaign."

Rouzer ran for the same position last election cycle and lost by a handful of votes to incumbent congressman, Democrat Mike McIntyre.
