Schools delayed Tuesday

January 6, 2014

From staff reports

School officials in both Wake and Johnston County announced this morning that classes will be delayed on Tuesday by 2 hours because of weather predictions calling for unusually cold temperatures.

Weather forecasters are calling for morning lows to dip near the single digits on Tuesday morning, although no precipitation is forecast.

Principals in Wake County will have the discretion to decide if breakfast will served at the school they lead. After school activities will continue as scheduled unless classes are dismissed early or canceled entirely.
