Masters of Soul come to GPAC with Motown’s greatest hits

February 28, 2014

Masters of Soul will perform at GPAC Saturday, March 8.

Masters of Soul will bring the greatest hits from the Motown era to Garner Performing Arts Center, 742 W. Garner Road, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8.

In the early 1960s, some of the most iconic names in the history of popular music were discovered in the Motor City, better know simply as Motown. Masters of Soul are a celebration of these artists, their music and their style. Masters of Soul’s dynamic vocalists are backed by a band of seasoned musicians who have been performing together for decades.

The audience will take the ultimate stroll down memory lane as they relive, or discover for the first time, the incredible harmonies and smooth moves made famous by many of the greatest recording acts of all time, including The Temptations, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops, Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Jackson Five, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, The Commodores and many more.

Tickets for Masters of Soul are $20 and can be purchased at or by calling the GPAC box office at 919-661-4602 Monday through Friday between 1:30 and 5 p.m.
