Are you a performer and have a desire to be on a grand stage in front of thousands of fans? Then here is your opportunity to be selected as a National Anthem performer at Five County Stadium this summer.

The Carolina Mudcats will host their annual National Anthem tryouts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, inside Five County Stadium, 1501 N.C. 39, Zebulon.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. on the third base side of the stadium and will be first come, first served.

WNCN TV News anchor Pam Saulsby will be on hand to help judge the auditions.

All performers, including solo and groups, wanting to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” must try out on this date, including those who have sung in years past. All auditions must be sung a cappella. Singers will sing the National Anthem on the field as if it were a real game.

The Mudcats will host the Potomac Nationals on Opening Day, April 4. Season and single game tickets, along with Muddy “Unreal Deals” are on sale now. Call the box office at 919-269-2287 for more information or visit
